East Nashville Hosts Neighborhood-Wide Porch Concert Series

Organizers in Nashville say the event builds on years of grassroots effort to bring neighbors together and support local causes.

"It's a big step forward for Nashville, and it wouldn't have happened without a lot of people pulling in the same direction," said Amanda Taylor, event organizer.

Last year's turnout topped 3260 attendees, and organizers say they are hoping to top that number this time with an expanded lineup of activities for families.

Volunteers and sponsors interested in getting involved are encouraged to reach out to organizers ahead of the date.
