Old City Block Party Raises Funds for Youth Arts Program

Organizers in Knoxville say the event builds on years of grassroots effort to bring neighbors together and support local causes.

"We've put a lot of work into getting this right, and we think people are going to notice the difference," said Emily Thomas, volunteer coordinator in Knoxville.

Last year's turnout topped 3334 attendees, and organizers say they are hoping to top that number this time with an expanded lineup of activities for families.
