The update is expected to draw additional visitors to Tiptonville in the coming months, adding to what has already been a strong season for Tennessee tourism.

"We've put a lot of work into getting this right, and we think people are going to notice the difference," said Ashley Davis, tourism director in Tiptonville.

Visitor numbers in the area were already up an estimated 21 percent over last year, according to regional tourism data, and officials expect the trend to continue through the fall.
