The news comes as beauty businesses across Smyrna report steady demand from both longtime regulars and a growing number of first-time clients.

"It's a big step forward for Smyrna, and it wouldn't have happened without a lot of people pulling in the same direction," said Laura Wilson, beauty educator.

Staff say appointment requests have climbed roughly 18 percent since word first spread on social media. The business currently employs 5 licensed technicians and plans to add more positions if demand keeps pace.
