Sundrop Nail Studio Wins Small-Business Grant for Expansion

The news comes as beauty businesses across Oak Ridge report steady demand from both longtime regulars and a growing number of first-time clients.

"This is something our community has been asking for, and we're glad to finally see it come together," said Megan Davis, salon owner in Oak Ridge.

Staff say appointment requests have climbed roughly 16 percent since word first spread on social media. The business currently employs 3 licensed technicians and plans to add more positions if demand keeps pace.
