The news comes as beauty businesses across Gatlinburg report steady demand from both longtime regulars and a growing number of first-time clients.
"It's a big step forward for Gatlinburg, and it wouldn't have happened without a lot of people pulling in the same direction," said Amanda Walker, salon owner.
Staff say appointment requests have climbed roughly 12 percent since word first spread on social media. The business currently employs 8 licensed technicians and plans to add more positions if demand keeps pace.
"It took teamwork, but we got there." — Amanda Walker
Those interested can book online or by phone, and walk-ins are welcome as availability allows.
