Riverbend Beauty Bar Goes Cashless and Eco-Friendly

The news comes as beauty businesses across Chattanooga report steady demand from both longtime regulars and a growing number of first-time clients.

"It's a big step forward for Chattanooga, and it wouldn't have happened without a lot of people pulling in the same direction," said Matthew Jackson, spa manager.

Staff say appointment requests have climbed roughly 33 percent since word first spread on social media. The business currently employs 8 licensed technicians and plans to add more positions if demand keeps pace.
